SimulEYE Femto Catalys

The Technique

A must have for any surgery center with a femtosecond cataract laser. The SimulEYE Femto (FLACS) model may be used with the following laser platforms: Alcon LenSx, J&J Catalys, Bausch & Lomb Victus. This model allows surgeons and technicians to really learn the laser in a relaxed environment when patients are not present. The user can dock to the eye, scan the internal anatomy, auto-register the anatomic landmarks, adjust surgical inputs as needed and then perform a realistic treatment with the laser.

The FLACS Model

Designed for use specifically with the femtosecond lasers for cataract surgery (FLACS). The end user can dock to the eye, scan the internal anatomy, auto register the anatomic landmarks, adjust surgical inputs as needed and then perform a realistic treatment with the laser. These eyes can be docked and scanned multiple times but are to be discarded once treated. Refill Packs are supplied in packs of 10 for a total of $400 per pack.  The first-time user needs to purchase a starter kit for $450 which includes a 10 pack of eyes, a reusable base, and the necessary tools for the final assembly of the eye prior to use.
