SimulEYE® Hydrus Open Sky
SimulEYE® is proud to offer the most comprehensive training models for the Alcon Hydrus MIGS device. Our line of 3 different models allows for progressive learning and practice with the device for optimal implantation and removal.
SimulEYE® Hydrus Open Sky: With a basic understanding of where to implant the Hydrus device, the Open Sky model allows implantation through the TM and into the canal. For the most realistic feel, the device can be implanted at any of the 12-clock-hour marks around the eye. Look for the windows through the TM during implantation. You can also learn how to explant the device in a very controlled setting. The Open Sky model can even be used with viscoelastic and a gonioprism to simulate the anterior chamber.
The MIGS Kit 2.0 is essential for supporting and positioning the eye. Please note that it is not included with the eye and must be purchased separately.
