This SimulEYE® model was developed in conjunction with Glaukos specifically for training with their iStent infinite device. it is not intended for use with the original iStent device. Using a gonioprism and viscoelastic, the angle structures can be visualized and the trabecular meshwork can be identified for realistic placement of the iStent inject. The realism of this model allows for under and over implantation of the device just as in actual surgery.
We strongly recommend purchasing the following:
Cohesive Viscoelastic Substitute to fill the eyes and provide a realistic intraocular environment or to create the sulcus and maintain space.
