SimulEYE® Streamline
This model was developed in conjunction with New World Medical for their STREAMLINE device. When using STREAMLINE and a gonioprism, the surgeon can visualize the angle structures, pierce the TM, deliver viscoelastic into the canal, and see it track outward to each side. Upon removal of the device, the trabeculotomies can be confirmed visually while additional installation of viscoelastic at another location will result in some reflux out through the otomies. This model is a variation of our Multi-MIGS eye and incorporates pre-placed incisions and internal dams which limit the flow of viscoelastic around the canal to maximize the number of times the model can be used.
Our MIGS models require the SimulEYE MIGS Kit 2.0 which provides a platform to support the eyes and also simulate the turned head position which is needed for visualization of the angle during MIGS surgical procedures.
We strongly recommend purchasing the following:
MIGS Kit 2.0 (see above)
Cohesive Viscoelastic Substitute to fill the eyes and provide a realistic intraocular environment or to create the sulcus and maintain space.
Please allow up to 5 business days for production (not including shipping time).
